The concept of a specialist team will bring together our key partners enabling us to provide a range of support services to families, young people and other professionals within the field of ASC.
We aim to:
- Support learners with ASC in sector colleges throughout Nottinghamshire by developing a diverse and structured range of discrete and specialised learning opportunities.
- Provide emotional support, social skills and life skills to enhance independence and further progression.
- Provide a purpose built and welcoming drop in facility offering advice, guidance and access to staff training.
- Foster collaboration for high level, multi-agency, mutually beneficial partnership working, thereby creating real opportunities for people with ASC.
- Continually develop and monitor a high quality curriculum to meet individual needs and aspirations.
- Work towards regional partnership accreditation scheme - setting policy and practice standards for services provided to people with ASC.
