Depending upon your particular requirements you may wish to contact a local, a wider regional or a national organisation.

Park Hall Autism Resource Centre

Park Hall Resource Centre in Bestwood Village represents a focal point for developing collaborative partnerships between:

  • NORSACA
  • Nottinghamshire Local Education Authority – Inclusion Outreach Support Service for Autism
  • ECAP- Early Communication and Autism Partnership

It is staffed by professionals from both organisations whose joint purpose is to support children, young people, families, schools, colleges and community agencies. You can contact the resource centre on Tel: 0115 976 180

National Autistic Society

NAS are a well established and widely recognised charity and you can find more information about them via their website.

British Institute of Learning Disabilities

BILD are working with the government and other organisations to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities.  They also do research, such as how to include people with learning disabilities in making decisions and report on their findings.
